Lunch and Learn Information
Throughout the school year, we will do short professional developments in the Media Center to help you in your classroom. Our professional developments will include the option of ordering a special lunch from out culinary arts program for $3.00. A Google form will be sent to you inviting you to our "Lunch and Learn" and then asking if you would like to buy a lunch while you are here in the Media Center. I hope to see you there!!

The Gamification of Education
Our "Lunch and Learn" for November will be on the "Gamification of Education." Games create engagement—the cornerstone of any positive learning experience. With the growing popularity of digital games and game-based interfaces, it is essential that gamification be part of every learning professional's toolbox. We have all heard the quote: “If you can’t beat them...join them! Our goal today is to introduce you to a few neat “games” that you can use in your classroom to generate excitement, engagement, and most importantly….LEARNING!!
